As a midfielder, USMNT star Tyler McKennie is more known for his defensive prowess and energy on the ball than his playmaking abilities. However, over the course of his time at Italian giants Juventus, he has still managed to provide a respectable number of assists.
Since joining the club in 2020, McKennie has made a total of 47 appearances in all competitions, starting 31 times. He has provided five assists in that time, with his best season coming during the 2022/23 campaign where he notched three.
His most memorable assist came against Spezia in October 2022 when he played a delicate through ball to Dusan Vlahovic, who finished off the move with a clinical finish. This goal helped secure a 2-0 win for Juve and showcased his vision and passing ability.
While he may not be the main playmaker for the Bianconeri, his assists often come from crucial moments and highlight-reel quality passes. It remains to be seen if he can improve on his current tally as he looks to cement his place under new manager Max Allegri.
